As an expert in CargoWise you will be joining them at an exciting time of growth and you will be able to work independently, with a lot of autonomy, so you will be able to use your creativity to solve problems and provide global support.
Duties of the role can be described in two distinct ways:
1.Being a CargoWise expert for all users in all offices from implementation and transformation projects to user requirements that arise.
2.Cover general IT Management in the Kent office, including 1st to 3rd line support, acting as the point of contact between the company and their on-site contractors.
This is a full-time position based in their Mid-Kent office Monday to Friday. Due to their international presence the successful candidate may occasionally travel to their other offices.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following:
-Expert in CargoWise (Certified professional)
-Strong knowledge of operational freight forwarding
-Strong knowledge of physical infrastructure
-Strong knowledge of cloud technology
-Excellent project management experience
-Understanding of backup, restorations and maintenance
-Knowledge of security practices and industry best protocols
-Hands-on experience in full life cycle of software and hardware development
-Experience delivering technical training to users
-Excellent communication skills and experience of managing relationships with external IT providers
- Must speak English but any German language experience would be a bonus
