Digital Marketing Executive
Maidstone
Full Time (5 days per week, 37.5 hours)
£25,000 - £27,500 DOE

This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable company to promote and support the activities of the hospitality and accommodation sales teams by developing and co-ordinating marketing activities across all media. Our client has residential accommodation, holiday cottages and bed and breakfast rooms for guests whilst also being a popular, prestigious venue for conferences, weddings and functions.

The person appointed must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a Digital Marketing role. They should have a good understanding of basic coding in order to maintain, develop and update hospitality pages on the website. They should also have experience in SEO, analytics and Google Ad campaigns. The ability to write well and generate creative copy for the website together with the confidence to pitch ideas to generate sales is an important part of this role.

Previous experience working either in house or agency side together with understanding of digital marketing in Hospitality, Hotels or Tourism and Leisure related activities is vital.

They must be self- motivated and possess excellent planning and organising skills and be a good team player.

KEY TASKS
•To update and develop hospitality and accommodation pages of their website and to review promotions and offers on a regular basis ensuring they remain accurate and seasonally relevant.
•To keep all third party partners, directories and agency websites up to date with relevant information, imagery, press releases, video and special offers, across cottages, glamping, bed and breakfast, wedding and conference sites.
•To use knowledge and experience of digital marketing (including SEO, analytics, planning and running campaigns for PPC, Facebook and other relevant social media platforms) to contribute to increased sales.
•Working with the sales team and our social media specialist, to be involved in planning and developing regular social media content ideas. To ensure regular review of competitors social media platforms to check we remain up to date and topical.
•Working in conjunction with the press office, to use creative and accurate writing skills to develop on-going email campaigns and generate ideas for content marketing.
•Using experience of managing design and print to work with the sales team in generating sales literature and brochures ensuring deadlines are met.
•Working with the Head of Brand and Marketing and our advertising agency, to help plan print and online media campaigns for the relevant business areas as required.
•To fully support the hospitality/accommodation teams during exhibitions with relevant display panels, social media support, show offers and any required print materials.
•To demonstrate excellent administrative skills ensuring all marketing schedules and budgets are up kept up to date.
•To undertake continuous research ensuring that the client has a presence in the leading, most suitable publications and websites for weddings, conferences and accommodation.
•To work with the hospitality sales team to build up and regularly change case studies and the image library with permissions from wedding photographers, couples and corporate clients.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
•Consistency of brand message and style on all creative internally and externally.
•Increase in occupancy of all accommodation driven by increased marketing activity.
•Consistent and regular exposure of Hospitality and Accommodation offer to a wider targeted audience.
•Clear and transparent working practices in line with their systems, ensuring senior management is kept fully updated.
•Follow Company regulations in Health & Safety and maintain a safe working environment.
•Personal standards of presentation, performance and attendance beyond reproach at all times.
