Experienced Bookkeeper/ Accountant is required for an independent accountancy firm. The client base is varied and covers limited companies and partnerships, start-ups and established companies across most business sectors.

As part of this team, you will hold responsibility for a client portfolio and support them through bookkeeping, VAT returns, reconciliations, payroll, CIS, cash flows and some management accounting. Previous experience of working in a practice of accountants is essential to be considered for this position.
• Ideally, qualified to AAT level 4, or holding a recognised bookkeeping qualification
• Previous bookkeeping work experience.
• The practice uses a range of accounting and bookkeeping software, but working experience of QuickBooks and XERO would be really beneficial.

This is a busy firm of independent accountants and you will be working as a Bookkeeper both in the Ramsgate office and at client premises in the local area, so your own transport would be helpful.
