Dedicated Accounts Administrator required to join our small team,
Office based in Fawkham, Kent.
Skills and Requirements
• Self-motivated, hardworking, enthusiastic and reliable
• Good communication and administrative skills
• Able to manage and plan work load effectively
• Able to work accurately with confidential information
• General accounting / book-keeping with knowledge of Sage software
• Good computer knowledge including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Good understanding of numerical, alphabetical and chronological systems / filing
• Ability to recall information and good organisational skills
• Polite telephone manner
• Excellent spoken and written English
Key Duties
To be involved in most facets of the business – main responsibilities to include (but are not limited to);
• Accounts Payable and Receivable
• Process Sales & Purchase Ledger invoices and credit notes
• Managing accounts including credit control and chasing debtors as necessary
• Accounts Reconciliation
• Input of data on Sage
• Data Processing
• Filing and Documentation
• Processing of Petty Cash vouchers and receipts
• Preparation of management accounts in accordance with Accountant
• Entering and updating current Spreadsheets and documents
• Managing confidential data in line with Data Protection Regulations
• Providing reports as required
• General Office Admin
General Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist office team in the day to day running of the office.
• Maintain and accurately update all customer sales related information
• Keeping customers up to date with progress of work as required and assisting with product enquiries, support and service issues
• Liaising with Engineers and Delivery Team
• Ad-hoc duties
General Information
• Hours: 9.00 – 5.30pm
Monday - Friday
40 hours per week
• Employment will be on a 6 month trial basis
• Must be punctual
• Due to location of the office - own vehicle is essential
