Our Client is looking for a Sous Chef to support the day to day running of the kitchen and team.

You will be expected to have at least 3 year's experience working with a busy, fast paced kitchen.

Our client is famous to its local community for serving excellent food wine and beers.

You will be experienced at working in quality operations with a fresh food background, cooking the best of British, fresh seasonal food.

You should have an excellent knowledge of current food trends with experience in menu planning and food costing. This is a hands-on role, you will be a strong and competent chef, be willing to work closely with senior and junior team members.

You will: -

Have excellent cooking skills

Have a great understanding of produce and ingredients

Experience working with fresh food

Have knowledge of EHO requirements and extremely high standards

Be responsible for daily due diligence logs

Key responsibilities: ·

Responsible for daily operations in the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence

Maintain the profit margins on food

Ensuring a high level of cleanliness and standards are met
