An exciting opportunity has arisen working for our large, reputable client based in Margate. We are looking to recruit an Assistant Brand Manager who will work with one of the company's most recognised brands.

Although flexibility is key for this role as weekend Trade Shows will require your attendance, the core working hours are Mon-Thursday 0830-1700 and Friday 0845-1300.

Reporting to the Head of Brand, the role requires an enthusiastic candidate who is confident, creative and personable to promote one of the company's most prestigious Brands and products both in the UK and internationally. You will be assisting in bringing the range to market and ensuring sales are maximised and profit grows.

Main duties in the role include;

* Producing regular Trades News for both the UK and Europe;
* Arranging samples for magazines and following up the results;
* Managing and maintaining the Line Plan;
* Dealing with daily requirements of the Brand and marketing Team;
* Assisting and organising Consumer Shows including those run for external partners;
* Liaising with the internal Licensing Team;
* Liaising with Sales to ensure they are up to date and have all the required materials they need;
* Managing and developing the Amazon store;
* Assisting with project managing of catalogues and other printed material;
* Creating internal news reports for colleagues and staff
* Engaging with Social Media to drive campaigns

The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who is looking to grow and develop within the role and the company. Formal training courses will be available as well as training given by the Manager and other colleagues. Must have a can do attitude and be a team player-must be flexible with hours when required (this will include weekends on occasions.)

Must have good all round IT skills and good general communication skills-both verbal and written.

You will also have the ability to work to deadlines and hold good, confident presentation skills.
