Advance FM are a Facility Maintenance company with offices based in Maidstone, Kent. We are looking for experienced, Fabric Engineers to join our team carrying out works in Kent, London and the South East.

We are a single point of contact for all planned and reactive maintenance works covering the industrial and commercial industry 365 days of the year.

The role of a Fabric Engineer is fast-paced and requires travelling daily.

As part of the facilities management team you will deliver an effective and quality maintenance service; through completing all planned and reactive FM related tasks in a compliant manner, making sure downtime is kept to a minimum.

You will ensure that the site is statutory compliant and accurate records are kept up to date, as well as maintaining a high standard of work by following safe working practices.

The candidate must have the following:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience working within a trade qualified or time served
Be able to multi skill outside their core trade – to include plumbing, general building, carpentry and roofing.
Previous experience of planned and reactive maintenance works
Experience with working in Commercial/Residential and Industrial premises
Be able to identify issues and be able to problem solve/decision making
Must have the ability to operate safely and have a good knowledge of Health and Safety
Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
Be able to work independently, self manage and as part of a team
Be able to complete and send paperwork/photos electronically
Keys skills and qualifications preferred:

Full UK drivers licence
Qualifications (NVQ or equivalent) for core trade

CSCS card
PASMA
IPAF (1b, 3a, 3b)
NICEIC
