Arjowiggins Chartham Mill is part of a larger Paper Manufacturing Company based in the village of Chartham just outside Canterbury. Our translucent paper products, have been made on this site since 1938 and are used for many applications worldwide. We are pleased to announce that we are entering an exciting phase of Company development. We are actively promoting our capability to produce recyclable and environmentally friendly paper products for new applications in a variety of markets.

To support our accredited Quality, Safety and Environmental manufacturing process, we have opportunities in our Engineering Department.

Electrical Technicians:

• Our engineering section works a variety of day, day rota and continuous shift patterns and provides vital support to the process areas on a continuous 24-hour basis.

• Successful candidates will assist with planned maintenance, installation, fault diagnosis and improvement work on a wide range of papermaking and converting machinery observing all the required safety standards.

• Suitable candidates will have served a recognised Apprenticeship and be qualified to a minimum of National Certificate Level in an Electrical engineering discipline. You will ideally have recent experience in a heavy industrial environment.

Salary for trained technicians will be in the range of £33,500 to £40,500 per year depending on hours worked and experience. Benefits, training and hours will be provided upon request or at interview.
