My client is a Dartford based family owned manufacturer looking to recruit a Financial Controller to oversee the finance department. 

Working closely with the business owners, you`ll be a sounding board on strategic and commercial decisions and ensure that on a day to day basis, the highest standards of compliance and controls are maintained within the finance team. 

Key responsibilities will include: 

Management accounts pack, to include commentary and full analysis 
Revision of KPI`s to include commercial analysis to support business decisions
Business partner with department heads and support them with their budget management
Co-ordination of annual budgets and forecasts 
Maintain banking relationships and bank account management
Financial accounting with all statutory returns and tax submissions
Management and development of the accounts team

The successful applicant with be CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA qualified with demonstrable experience of leading a small finance team. You will be a natural leader, with strong stakeholder management skills and open to changing environment and be able to offer commercial support.  Manufacturing experience would be of huge benefit, with stock experience valued highly.
