Walnut Hill Nurseries is an independent 3.5 acre plant nursery specialising in hedging, both evergreen and deciduous, shrubs, ornamental trees, climbers, perennials and topiary.
Job Description:
We require a horticultural assistant to work with us at our friendly nursery based near Gravesend. Duties to include but not limited to:
• Irrigation
• Potting
• Weeding
• Pruning
• Serving customers
Requirements:
• Knowledge of ornamental plants is an advantage but not essential
• Experience of fork lift driving is desirable but not essential
• A willingness to learn is essential.
This can be a physically demanding job, so a good level of fitness is required.
Due to location having your own transport would be an advantage.
