Based in Broadstairs, we are looking to recruit a Senior Laboratory Technician-a Degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry is essential.
This role is working Monday-Friday 0830-1700.
Working predominantly as a support for the Chemists, you will assist with formulation, preparation and testing of inks for inkjet applications to ensure new products meet customer requirements. You will also have involvement in ink designs and testing to support fundamental technology developments and investigations to resolve performance issues.
The successful candidate will be trained to conduct ink performance evaluations in a range of print heads and printer platforms to support this. You will be required to keep detailed records and produce reports and presentations.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of GCSE (or equivalents) C or above in Maths, English and Science, A Levels and Chemistry Degree.
Strong IT skills, the willingness to grow and develop with a good eye for detail are equally important.
Experience of working within a laboratory environment is also required.
