Based centrally in Tunbridge Wells, our client have a wealth of experience in the insurance industry, within the property sector and are going through exciting change due to increased business demand. This is the perfect career move for an experienced insurance Claims Handler from the property industry who would like to work within a smaller company, which is expanding and join a close-knit team away from a call-centre setting.

This is the prime opportunity to enjoy a challenging and varied role which offers autonomy, expert training and the chance to build your career through learning and external certification.

Enjoy working to handle claims through from the first point of contact with the claimant, to authorisation and closure. You will be involved with the contact with the claimants and their insurers or brokers, third parties and witnesses, as well as occupants and property owners. Provide exceptional levels of service and empathy throughout the process, whilst providing information to the relevant parties and internal teams.

Build the report through thorough investigation of the claim and document information throughout, sending correspondence to the applicable parties and liaising with internal colleagues to gather and record information, whilst always keeping in line with FCA and industry regulations, AML and monitoring fraudulent activity. Work directly with senior management and the company directors to seek final authorisation following a comprehensive report.

Essential:
- Property industry/Insurance experience within a similar role
- Knowledge and experience of the full claims process
- Exceptional customer service skills
- A clear communication style, written and verbal
- Team orientation, adaptability and flexibility
