Our client is Kent’s longest serving IT support provider that has been supporting businesses across the south East, primarily Kent, for over 30 years! They have grown organically and have recently acquired larger open plan offices in Central Maidstone to accommodate their expansion plans. They are also relaunching a brand new website shortly. As the team is expanding they are now looking for an enthusiastic IT Sales Executive with knowledge of modern IT systems and the industry to push the growth of the company. You will primarily look to increase client numbers as well as sales of hardware and services to existing clients, whilst working in a relaxed atmosphere with a great team bond.

They are looking for an IT Sales Executive with existing current skills;

• Knowledge of Microsoft server and desktop systems is essential along with a good overview of general IT
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven IT sales track record
• Effective relationship-builder
• Self-motivation and ambition
• Experience of working within a sales team or as an individual sales executive
• Proven ability to develop and close business opportunities

• Easily identify new business opportunities
• Work with other members of staff to come up with marketing plans to help drive new sales
• Attend networking events to promote the company
• Build a good relationship with new clients
• Be able to quickly identify a customer’s needs then create proposals and quotations
• Develop and manage clients to their full potential

• Forecast pipeline opportunities

Place of Work

The office is based in Maidstone, Kent. The IT Sales Executive will be travelling to meetings, etc. across the target area of South East England. Full (Preferred clean) UK driving licence required. Parking will be provided at the company HQ or permit to park in nearby carpark.
