SENIOR TECHNICIAN to £32,000
Reporting to the Head of Claims and Technical Processing, your role is to manage the day to day running of allocated classes of business on open market risks or allocated facilities (binders and line slips). Upon request and/or renewal providing a pro-active approach to ensure efficient handling of our client's needs, including preparation of documentation (Binding Authority Slips, Lineslips and endorsements)
On a monthly basis managing premium, claims, statistics, credit control and payments providing timely and accurate information to internal Brokers & senior Management, Underwriters, Client Brokers and Loss Adjusters
ï·Drafting Binding Authority Agreements, Lineslips and Endorsements Processing;
ï·Drafting Profit Commissions (paid premiums signings, claims figures, calculations and presentation)
ï·Registration of Binding Authorities on BAR, ATLAS, Xchanging DA SATS, Company Internal System;
ï·Maintenance and review of policy wordings and facilities documentation
ï·Processing MRC Slips and Lineslip declarations;
ï·Producing Debit Notes and send them to clients;
ï·Collecting survey fees and return premiums;
ï·Dealing with complex issues and queries from Brokers, Underwriters, Coverholders, Xchanging
ï·Preparation and Submission of Monthly Risk and Premium Bordereaux to Underwriters
ï·Submission of Monthly Risk and Premium Bordereaux on DA SATS
ï·Preparation of risk and premium statistics
ï·Submission of payments on Xchanging
ï·Essentials skills
ï·Minimum two-year experience in Insurance
ï·Experience in Binding Authority processes/documentation
ï·Experience work in a Broker environment in a Binding Authority role
ï·Knowledge of BAR, ATLAS, Xchanging and DA SATS
ï·Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with extra emphasis on Word and Excel (including use of pivot tables)
