Have an immeadiate vacancy for an external sales representative selling ready mixed concrete and aggregates to the construction industry. The job will be based at our Dartford head office hours 8.30-5.30 pm Mon-Friday plus some Saturday morning cover occasionally required.
Candidates must have previous sales experience especially in the ready mixed concrete sector of construction materials. Candidates must be confident at cold calling and visiting active construction sites and customers offices. A full clean driving licence will be required.
You will work with two internal sales and customer service personnel to chase business opportunities and successfully conclude and close sales enquiries on a face to face and telephone/ email environment.
The territory would be primarily N.W. Kent but you will be expected to travel to customers office addresses in the South East as and when required.
The post will require an enthusiastic numerate and commercially aware individual with previous experience. Candidates living in the Dartford / N. Kent area would be preferred.
The position would be salaried with a contributory pension scheme, use of a Company Car for sales calling and command a competitive salary.
