Assistant Accounts Mgr upto £32k DOE based Maidstone. Must have AP & AR with supervisory experience.

Your new company
You will be working for an long standing and established organisation based in the Central Kent area. The Assistant Accounts Manager job has become available due to an internal move and requires someone with both Accounts Payable and Receivable experience as well as supervising members of staff. You will work the general office hours of 9 to 5:30.

Your new role
You will supervise the accounts transactional team of approx 6 to 8 personnel working within AR and AP. You will produce monthly Aged Debt and Creditor reports, prepare weekly management reports, download interest invoices and statements from portals. Process monthly DD's for sales ledger, Accounts payable BACS payment runs, allocation of supplier invoices and process bank entries. You will set up DD mandates, countersign all account credit applications, complete AP account request forms and deal with any queries.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience in an Accounts Manager/Supervisor position with both accounts payable and receivable experience. You will be able to communicate with employees at all levels and have the ability to influence your team in adopting new methods and processes. You will ideally be AAT qualified but not essential with excellent IT skills.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary in the region of £27k - £32k DOE with additional benefits of pension, 22 days holiday plus Bank Holidays. You will also receive study support if required.
