Are you an IT Services Technician or have experience in a similar technical support role?
Are you familiar with the procedures and systems used within a Helpdesk/Support environment?
Our client, an established manufacturing firm based in Broadstairs, is currently looking to recruit a temporary IT Services Technician to work on a 3-month contract. This role will be offering a competitive salary.
As the IT Services Technician, you will be required to provide high quality, professional support to internal customers on a wide variety of technical support issues. This may also require working closely with external suppliers.
It essential that you are able to be flexible in your hours of work as the team works a three shift system (6.00-14.00, 10.00-18.00, 8.30-17.00) as well as operating out of hours' support.
Person Specification:
* First-rate PC technical support skills are essential.
* Good general skills in Ethernet networking environments.
* Previous AS400 experience and familiarity with Backups, AntiVirus and Active Directory is ideal.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Ability to quickly establish rapport and credibility with internal customers.
* Knowledge of procedures and systems used within a Helpdesk/Support environment.
* Ideally you will have a minimum of one years' experience in a similar technical support role.
