Position Expectations
You will be required to provide high quality, professional support to our internal customers on a wide variety of technical support issues. This may also require working closely with external suppliers.
First-rate PC technical support skills are essential, along with good general skills in Ethernet networking environments. Previous AS400 experience and familiarity with Backups, AntiVirus and Active Directory would be extremely advantageous.
The Candidate
You will require strong interpersonal skills and be able to quickly establish rapport and credibility with internal customers. You will also be conversant with the procedures and systems used within a Helpdesk/Support environment. Ideally you will have a minimum of one years’ experience in a similar technical support role.
The team works a three-shift system (6.00-14.00, 10.00-18.00, 8.30-17.00) as well as operating out of hours’ support, so you will need to be flexible in your hours of work.
This role is a temporary placement for an initial period of 3 months.
