Group Reporting Manager | Long Term Maternity Cover | Kent | £55 + significant car allowance + Bonus

ACA qualified (or equivalent), with post qualified experience in a commercial environment required to join an International Group for a period of 15 months to cover maternity leave. You should be available immediately or on short notice.

The Group Reporting Manager is responsible for collating, reviewing and consolidating financial information submitted by subsidiaries and should challenge errors and discrepancies in the numbers. The role is a key contact for Finance colleagues across Europe and at Group level for all financial reporting matters. The role requires occasional travel to meet with subsidiary finance teams across the UK and Europe.

In addition to group reporting, the role is responsible for tax compliance (direct and indirect) of the Group’s UK subsidiaries and the production of their annual financial statements.

The Group Reporting Manager must ensure that company processes and reported numbers are compliant with IFRS, USGAAP, SOX, HMRC rules and company accounting policies.

You should have the following skills and experience:
• Full accounting qualification gained in a practice/audit environment and post qualified experience in industry
• Excellent technical accounting knowledge including experience of IFRS and US GAAP
• Experience in consolidation and preparation of statutory accounts
• Experience of financial reporting in a public company preferred
• Experience in VAT and corporation tax and in establishing processes
• Experience of working in a fast paced, multinational, multi-currency environment
• Good Excel skills with experience in using accounting and consolidation systems
• High level of attention to detail including accuracy and thoroughness to avoid errors in financial information
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels both internally and externally
• Exceptional planning, organisation and prioritisation skills with a proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
