My Client is in an exciting period of expansion. The future is definitely good, and to enhance this they are now looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer - days, to work as a multi-skilled maintenance technician and provide a high degree of technical expertise.

You will play an integral part in the function of the Engineering section, working on a wide range of engineering plant, equipment and installations



The Role: Mechanical Engineer - days

To provide a high degree of technical expertise

Diagnose faults of a complex nature.

Carry out all aspects of improvement, maintenance and repair works.

Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance

Undertake technical/statutory inspections

Plan/prioritise complex activities



Skills and Qualifications: Mechanical Engineer - days

Apprentice served Mechanical Engineer - to minimum NVQ level 3 standard and associated C&G's

3 years post trade-qualification experience in relevant discipline

Hydraulic, heavy machinery and welding/fabrication experience

Have technical specialist knowledge in a wide range of plant and equipment

Be conversant in carrying out Mechanical assessments and fault diagnosis

Experience in reviewing and creating RAMS

Full driving licence and own transport
