£8.50 per hour

Situated near Canterbury in Kent, Howletts Wild Animal Park works in conjunction with The Aspinall Foundation; a charity committed to conservation and the reintroduction of captive bred species back into their natural habitats. Situated within Howletts Wild Animal Park is the Treetop Challenge where customers experience a fun and exhilarating adventure as they negotiate the giant obstacle course of rope bridges, ladders, tight ropes all high up in the tree tops with a zip wire finale back to the ground.

We are currently looking for a motivated individual who can lead the Treetop Challenge team, manage the course, conduct health and safety checks, and organise rotas. The job holder will also be required to conduct some light maintenance tasks during the winter such as painting and deep cleaning. Maintenance experience is not required.

We require candidates to have a good level of physical fitness and a ‘head for heights’ as you will be working on and around the course. You will have previous supervisory experience and must be a customer orientated, people person with the ability to provide an unforgettable and fun experience for our guests. Full training on the equipment will be given.

This permanent role is 20 hours per week, worked on a flexible rota basis. You must be available to work weekends and bank holidays as required.
