Support Worker
Kingston, Kent
£8.21 Per Hour
Our client, a residential care company based in Kingston, Kent, is currently looking for a Support Worker to join their team on a ÂÂÂpermanent basis.
As the Support Worker, you will be required to work 2 different shift patterns, 7.30/8am - 2.30/3pm or 2.30/3pm - 8.30/9pm for an hourly rate of £8.21.
As the Support Worker, you willâ¦
* Participate in the day-to-day implementation of individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment.
* Provide personal care.
* Need to be flexible as you are required to work shifts including bank holidays, weekends and potentially sleep ins.
* Maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families and other whilst respecting appropriate confidentiality.
* Support service users with the preparation of meals, laundry duties, cleaning and social events.
* Achieve high standards of safeguarding.
* Maintain accurate notes and records as and when required.
* Work as part of a team to provide high quality care.
Person Specification:
* You MUST have experience working as a Support Worker or a similar role to be considered for this position.
* Experience in supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities and/or mental health issues.
