A thriving growing business with great opportunities is seeking a Purchasing Assistant based in Ashford paying up to £25,000.
Key responsibilities:
* To manage all non-stock enquiries sent through from sales in a timely manner. Ensuring the quotations has been price correctly following all guidelines
* Relationship building within our supply chain
* Support the purchasing team on daily processes
* To negotiate with suppliers
The successful candidate will possess:
* Background within construction desirable
* Understanding off margin calculations and targets
* Experience within a busy and pressured environment
* Negotiating power
* Confident telephone manner and computer literate
