Fox Group are highly successful marketing solutions businesses based in Tunbridge Wells providing print, direct mail, creative, corporate gifts, storage and distribution to a range of blue-chip clients. We are looking to recruit a professional, experienced and organised Despatch Manager to manage our fast-paced despatch department.

Reporting to the Production Manager and working alongside a team of other members of management you will manage a small team of Warehouse Assistants and Drivers to ensure all customer orders are correctly packaged and despatched to agreed deadlines as well as efficiently managing the goods in section.

Essential requirements:
Strong people management experience and leadership skills.
Able to comfortably challenge when required - but also supportive, encouraging, engaging and developing.
Strong customer and commercial focus.
Strong communication skills and able to interface with a variety of internal stakeholders
Excellent organisation and time management skills.
From a similar role and responsibilities in fast-pace warehouse/manufacturing background - high pressure and deadline sensitive.
Positive can-do attitude to change and wants to initiate change.

Key roles:
Comply with despatch procedures, ensuring accurate paperwork.
Maintain excellent internal and external customer services.
Liaise daily with Production and Finishing Departments to ensure deadlines are met.
Schedule deliveries and ensure all delivery deadlines are met.
Ensure that goods in are accurately recorded and stored correctly.
Ensure cost effective deliveries, using internal drivers or couriers.
Draft timescales for jobs.
Monitor quality control.
Ensure all details are correct prior to despatch.
Conduct stock checks for items in storage.

The hours are Monday to Friday 6.00am – 3.00pm with an hour for lunch, although extra hours may be required to meet customer needs.
