My Client is in an exciting period of expansion. The future is definitely good, and to enhance this they are now looking to recruit an AutoCad Technician to be responsible for the daily management of all CAD drafting services.

This includes the administration and production of all AutoCAD services in relation to major/minor capital and operations projects.



The Role: AutoCad Technician

Provide technical advice to others

Maintain the AutoCAD systems including all customisation and user specific preferences

Prepare and maintain AutoCAD drawings of assets/facilities

Use knowledge of relevant construction/building design codes

Be responsible for the checking, recording and filing of all internally, and externally, produced record drawings

Support the development programme to ensure that all data is stored and recorded in the drawing database

Be responsible for ensuring all project related as-built drawing information is supplied and to set standards and stored correctly



Skills / Experience / Qualifications: AutoCad Technician

5 years proven AutoCAD experience in a construction or similar related environment

Experience of 3D AutoCAD, Revit and BIM knowledge would be advantageous

Formal qualification or experience working in a construction related discipline i.e Civil Engineering

Demonstrable knowledge of construction terminology and technical drafting

Current driving licence
