FIXED TERM CONTRACT TO 31-JUL-2020

Hours: 22.2 hours per week (either 3 full days or spread over 4 / 5 days), 52 weeks per annum.

Salary: £18,000 per annum pro rata (£30,000 per annum full time equivalent).

Location: Based at the College’s Dartford and Gravesend campuses, but external travel required.

We are currently recruiting for a suitably qualified and experienced Assessor in Hairdressing to join the College’s Arts and Creative Industries department on a part time, fixed term basis.

The postholder will be responsible for training and assessing candidates, both within their place of work and at the College, monitoring their progress in line with SASE requirements and liaising regularly with employers.

To be considered for this role, you will need to hold a Level 3 qualification in Hairdressing, an Internal Verification qualification and an Assessor qualification (A1 or equivalent). Strong knowledge of the occupational area, the relevant awarding bodies and the role of further education is essential, and you must have experience of establishing and developing successful relations with employers.
