HR MANAGER

37 hours per week, happy to discuss flexible working.
Bradstow is a creative and unique residential school for children between the ages of 5 & 19. It is situated in 13 acres of parkland in Broadstairs maintained by Wandsworth Council. We seek to meet the needs of children and young people with autism and severe learning difficulties with associated behaviours that may be challenging. We have achieved national recognition for our developments in Communication and Behaviour Management.
We are looking for an experienced people manager to lead the HR department and provide a high quality and efficient service to the school.
This role includes liaising with other Wandsworth Council departments including Human Resources, Pensions and Payroll, as well as providing strategic advice to the Senior Management Team. The post holder will be Level 7 CIPD qualified (or willing to commit to achieving); and having experience within an education setting or the Public Sector would be advantageous.
For all posts we look for candidates who are mature, warm, creative and open to learning with a patient and caring attitude to deal sensitively with vulnerable children.
