Engineering Team – Project Co-ordinator

You will be working alongside our Engineering Director with a team of 30 install engineers. Your organisation, co-ordination and scheduling skills will allow our team to focus on what they are good at – installing AV/IT home automation systems into some of the world’s largest and most expensive homes and superyachts.

The role:

• Resource Planning – Updating of the weekly team planning schedule is a key part of this role. This will involve working with the Engineers to ensure that their personal work plan is completed each week. You will also be reviewing the schedule on a daily basis to allocate any spare labour by co-ordinating with the Senior Engineers.
• Project Scheduling – assisting with the administration and updating of the Engineering team project schedule. This is an excel based task. All current and future projects are scheduled against a timeline to enable resource planning and project visibility for the management.
• Travel Booking and Administration – many of our projects are based in overseas locations and you will be assisting with booking all flights, hotels, hire cars, taxis and then co-ordinating any changes to the bookings.
• Sub-Contractor management – we engage sub-contractors on many of our large projects and you will be responsible for documentation (contracts, Health and Safety certification, insurance documentation) for all sub-contractors, whilst also being the point of contact for organising their travel etc.
• HR –You will co-ordinate all holiday requests across the teams. You will also monitor absenteeism and will be responsible for the administration and booking of all training requirements.
• Health and Safety - ensuring all Engineers have up to date ECS cards, A1 certification, any relevant Working at Height training, Electrical training etc. Ensuring risk assessments are completed where required and all staff are equipped with PPE at all times.
• Managing Time Logging – ensuring time is logged to projects and producing reports for the management team detailing time logged and team efficiency data.

The successful candidate will be based at the company Head Office in Faversham.
