We are looking for two Independent Board Members to join us in our journey to deliver reliable housing services to our residents.

This is an important role, at a time of considerable uncertainty and change for East Kent Housing. You will work closely with fellow Board members, the Chief Executive, and the senior team to deliver the best outcomes for residents and staff.

About you
You will need to be excited about the possibilities East Kent Housing presents and demonstrate the ability to think strategically while confidently provide critical challenge across our business.

We are looking for individuals who are interested in contributing to our organisational change. You may have experience in providing housing or other services to residents, but enthusiasm and willingness to learn are equally important attributes.

These are non-remunerated roles. Expenses will be paid.

What do we do?

East Kent Housing is part of a growing sector which aims to make sure that everyone has a secure home they can afford. We manage over 17,000 properties for the four councils of East Kent (Canterbury, Dover, Folkestone & Hythe, and Thanet). We are responsible for the inspection, repair and maintenance of residents' homes, the collection of charges and rent, and support our residents by providing advice services and responding to enquiries and issues affecting them and the communities that we serve. Our people work in both customer-facing and business support roles as part of a large not-for-profit organisation focused on making a difference in the community and to peoples' lives.
