W.E Roberts (Corrugated) Ltd is offering the exciting opportunity for an Internal Sales Coordinator to join our leading corrugated cardboard manufacturing firm based in Northfleet. The right candidate will require excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills, together with an ability to deliver high standards of customer service and to be responsible for providing professional pre and post-sales support, coordination and retention for their allocated pool customers and key accounts.

Duties will include:
• Delivering a consistently high level of customer service to Key accounts
• Responsible for maintaining and growing an allocated area of pool accounts
• Assist sales reps/sales director to develop and execute sales strategies when required
• Update and maintain systems with accurate Call info and customer information
• Using monthly reports to analyse and capture spend to budget information on pool accounts
• Pro-actively ensuring the retention and growth of allocated pool accounts
• Working with WER surrounding departments to resolve problems, facilitate solutions and enhance customer experience
• Screening and pre-qualifying calls/emails within sales department, directing the enquiry through correct route and checks before providing quote/solution
• Monitoring active orders and managing customer requirements, taking into account manufacture and delivery variables
• Stock control and replenishment of agreed call off jobs
• Assess and direct customer complaints to designated department and involve managers where required
• A basic commercial understanding of quotes and the effect on our business
• An understanding of WER manufacturing capabilities and industry standards
• Knowledge of technical /origination including industry standards and common terms
• Using WER standard customer sign off sheets and understanding how this protects both WER and customer legally.

Key Requirements for the role:

• previous customer services experience (desirable);
• reliable and punctual – with an excellent attendance record;
• high attention to detail essential;
• good level of organisation;
• excellent communication skills;
• ability to work well independently as well as part of a close knit team;
• good knowledge and experience of Microsoft IT Systems;
• excellent telephone manner; and
• Ability to use own initiative.
