CAD Technician & Assistant Project Manager

Purpose of a CAD Technician

As a CAD Technician you will be responsible to produce accurate CAD drawings, making drawing amendments, cross checking that factory production drawings represent a true reflection of the customer’s order. Then as an Assistant Project Manager, providing administrative support to field-based Project Managers.

At Boon Edam we strongly believe in ‘working better together’ and through this you, the Project Managers (PMs) and field-based sales team will work out best practise solutions for our customers. This work will be managed within the SAP and BIM environment with an eye to continuous improvements.

All of this will enhance the perception of Boon Edam to customers, through improved communication during the full project lifecycle.

CAD Technician Brief Activities:
• Production of CAD drawings and amendments.
• Management of customer document control systems.
• Use of SAP system for configuration, sales orders and project networks development.
• Cross checking factory production drawings to ensure accurate reflection of customer approval orders.
• Generate and issue RAMS for our H&S systems.
• Provide customers with O&M manuals at the completion of our installations.
• Work closely with the Project Managers for administration activities, to achieve department and overall company goals.
