Pay Rate: £230.00 - £250.00 per day (depending on experience)

The Client: Kent based main contractor specialising in projects up to £8million



Position: Freelance opportunity for a stand alone Site Manager to oversee the build of 10 timber frame houses.


Responsibilities

* Managing the quality of works
* Create look ahead programmes and continually review and update where required
Implement, monitor and enforce procedures.
* Review method statements and risk assessments to ensure compliant
* Arrange and chair pre-start meetings with sub - contractors
* Attend hand - over meeting with pre-construction team & progress meetings with client


Requirements

* Ideally previous experience as a Site Manager working for a Main Contractor
* Project experience in Commercial, Education or Housing
* HNC / HND / Degree in Construction Management is desirable but not a necessity
* Highly Organised
* Work well under pressure
