My Client is a is a leading B2B publisher for the print and packaging industries, delivering focused and high quality editorial both in print and online. Due to continued growth they are seeking an experienced Business development/ account Manager to join their team. In addition to publishing market leading titles and online channels, they also organise a number of face to face events and industry Awards ceremonies.

Main responsibilities will be selling classified, display and online advertising, building excellent relationships and driving revenues forward. This will be achieved through telephone/email contact as well as face to face meetings and attending events as required. Sometimes this may include working outside office hours and occasional overnight stay.

Ideal person will have a B2B media sales background, ideally with an understanding of the printing and publishing industry. However, my client will also consider candidates who show the enthusiasm and excellent interpersonal skills that will bring success across their services.

Previous sales experience, ideally gained in media sales

Self motivated and happy to work to targets

Team player who is happy not to be micromanaged and can use your initiative.

First class communication skills, both written and verbal

Proficient in Microsoft applications

Takes pride in work ad in self.

Basic Salary is £26 - £30k+ depending on experience with an uncapped commission scheme. Commission is paid on an annual basis along with target based bonus payable on each issue.

Hours are 9.00am - 5.00pm, Monday - Friday.
