Based on the same site that the company was founded on in 1961, KEF’s commercial, production and R&D activities all take place at the Maidstone facility. We are now looking for a practical and level-headed individual to join the Service Team.
JOB TITLE
Service Support Assistant (Full time, Fixed term contract, 6 months)
LOCATION
Maidstone, Kent
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supporting the Service Department with all aspects of daily tasks for global markets to ensure efficient running of the department;
• Picking, packing and despatch of spare parts for Global markets
• Receipt and unpacking of spare parts
• Receipt of incoming retailer returns and consumer repairs
• Assisting in unboxing and packing of loudspeaker repairs (many products are heavy and require a two-person lift)
• Stock level monitoring
• Handling of incoming queries to Maidstone including consumer walk-ins and courier companies
• Handling the receipt and checking incoming loan/marketing stock returns and review product
• General administration assistance
REQUIREMENTS
Working with a small team, this role requires a person with a positive, can-do attitude to assist with all aspects of a busy Service Department. With various requests from markets across the EU, the successful candidate should have an ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions to help the smooth running of the department. The role requires good cooperation with other departments. To have an efficient working process, the successful candidate must be organised, have good time management skills and be able to work independently. The role includes handling multiple requests in a short timeframe whilst still being able to prioritise and complete necessary tasks.
Warehouse experience is preferred but not required. An ability to lift heavy objects is essential.
