Due to continued expansion, our well-established client based in Sidcup is looking for an Electrician to work on various projects mainly in and around the Gatwick Airport area and London.

All applications will be subject to Security Clearance due to the location of the works.

The right candidate will be a fully qualified electrician with good working knowledge of commercial work, including inspection & testing, installation and maintenance of the following systems:

• Emergency lighting systems (central battery & static inverters)
• 3 Phase & single Phase systems
• Lighting control systems
• BMS systems
• HVAC
• Competent in the installation of containment, conduit, and cable tray.
• Terminations of SWA cables.

Requirements
• Qualified to City and Guilds Levels 1,2 and 3 or NVQ Level 3 to include AM2 (or equivalent qualification)
• 17th Edition
• CSCS Card
• IPAF
• PASMA
• First aid
• Asbestos awareness

Responsibilities
• To carry out all work in a safe manner; maintaining H&S standards and in accordance with BS:7671
• Carry out work at Gatwick Airport in accordance with GAL Electrical safety rules
• Be able to read installation drawings
• To be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team

Salary is dependent on skills and experience.
Company van subject to negotiation.
Working hours are subject to site location but will be either 7:30am – 5pm or 7:30am – 4pm.
