Do you have experience in goods in/goods out? Are you experienced in asset control in a manufacturing environment and have great organisational skills?



We are currently recruiting a Stores person / Asset Controller to start immediately for our client based in Thanet. As the Stores person/Asset Controller you will be working 8 hour days on a shift pattern of 4 on 4 off for an hourly rate of £10.50 per hour.



As the Stores Person / Asset Controller, you will be…

* Helping with setting up stores from scratch
* Creating System/ procedures to record process of issuing goods in/out and store the equipment/goods
* Checking invoices against stock received and reporting back for non- received items
* Issuing equipment to Site staff and recording it in line with procedures
* Checking-in equipment back to store and recording in line with procedure
* Packing
* Cutting of materials
* Stock Control
* Organising the stores
* Inspection of goods received (and some goods out)
* Handling of goods in/out
* Day- to-day housekeeping
* Administration of delivery documentation
* Ensure conformance to department and company procedures



Person Specification:

* Ability to read and understand Invoices
* Material identification skills
* Must understand problems and recognise areas of improvement & communicate solutions to a range of stakeholders
* Willingness to work overtime when/and as required
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Commercial awareness and understanding of business
* Forklift experience is ideal but not essential
* Background in a manufacturing facility is ideal but not essential
