About the Role:
Oversee and Co-ordinate with the Service Company and Business to ensure prompt collection and reconciliation of premiums.

Key Duties / Responsibilities:
·Oversee and manage outsourced credit control process on premiums due, to ensure collection within the terms of credit
·Liaise with Service Company, brokers and the business areas to resolve queries in a timely manner to enable prompt collection of funds in respect of premium due.
·Oversee timely and accurate allocation of signings and reconcile differences to premium estimates.
·Oversee and manage all reporting to ensure all month end tasks are completed to ensure accurate month end reporting.
·Any ad hoc projects arising from credit control functions.
·Ensure adherence to all internal & regulatory requirements
·Carry out Reinsurance Credit Control of balances due to the Syndicate
·Liaising with the Business, Brokers and other stakeholders to assist in prompt collection of inwards Reinsurance balances, resolving queries and issues as required.
·Assist in preparation and negotiations of any commutations as required.

Skills and Experience:
·Must have Credit Control experience.
·Must be able to read and understand slips and endorsements
·Experience of Treaty XOL and Proportional Treaties an advantage
·Experience of Xchanging systems (Tracker and Account Enquiry) an advantage
·Strong understanding of Reinsurance Credit Control processes
·Must be numerate. Maths to at least GCSE B grade.
·Good knowledge of Word and Excel.
