A new position has just become available for a Night Shift Supervisor to join this reputable company based on the outskirts of Maidstone;
The role is to support and assist the Warehouse Management Team to achieve the companies financial, operational and customer service objectives of the site. To control the warehouse operations on a day to day basis, ensuring compliance with agreed standards and procedures

Primary Responsibilities
• Lead and motivate a team of warehouse operatives to ensure that the daily targets are met
• Enforce company general policies, procedures, Organic procedures and Health and Safety procedures
• Maintain communications with the warehouse management team and other teams operating on site as required
• Allocate the workload in line with the daily plan:
• Coordinate the timely unloading of vehicles
• Coordinate the loading of vehicles in line with the designated departure time
• Manage performance targets in line with company KPIs
• Develop your team to ensure that all talent is spotted and developed
• Completing Daily/weekly/monthly reports
• To ensure that effective distribution of labour is made as necessary during shift to achieve targets
• Meet with customers and contribute to meetings
• Use of – WMS & MS Office

To Apply:

• Experience of Multi-user Logistics/Distribution preferable
• Effective problem solving, with a solutions focus and strong knowledge in WMS's
• Familiarity with BRC
• Experience within an FMCG or food background is preferable
• Positive attitude and a professional approach
• Energy, enthusiasm, commitment and a can-do flexible attitude
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written, with the ability to deliver direction and motivation in an effective manner

Shifts:- 5 days/6days – Mon-Fri, Sun – Fri

Hours: 2200 - 0730
