Front of House Manager - 4* One Warwick Park Hotel
Salary: £30,000 + coupled with an excellent benefits package
Hours: Shifted 45 per week

The Role
The Beautiful Boutique 4* hotel One Warwick Park in Tunbridge Wells' are currently recruiting for a Front of House Manager. Within the role you will ensure that guests receive excellent service in a safe environment in accordance with company and hotel procedures Policies and legal requirements. The initial element of this role is also to support and help manage the structural, aesthetic and staff development across the departments to achieve the required financial position. This is very much a hands on front of house role which encompasses interaction with all departments in the venue.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working closely with the FOH staff to ensure consistency is maintained throughout the estate.
* Supporting Property Operations and Guest Relations needs
* To manage occupancy and rates
* To check the day's arrivals each morning in order to be aware of the business of the day
* To act as a point of contact for all guests
* Provide high levels of service and efficiency to guests within the business ethos and structure
* Provide feedback from guests to provide a platform for further improvement
* To action/deal with any complaints/queries expressed by guests
* Working within all departments to maintain and improve operational standards
* Regular checks of the building to ensure the highest standard of cleanliness and maintenance.
* Efficient running of Duty Management shifts - complete duty check lists.
* Conducting show rounds in absence of sales/events team
* Greeting clients and running through health and safety requirements
* Demonstrating a visible and approachable presence to customers and staff at all times
* Excellent customer service and recovery
* People Management and Development
* Show continuous initiative by highlighting new opportunities, identifying needs, and sharing ideas to continuously enhance the hotel offering to Operations Director
* Leading and developing the hotels Heads of Department
* Working with the Operations Director to achieve the hotel targets, through regular review and accurate forecasting
* Ensure that your teams have a pro-active and consistent approach to stock control, cost control and cash control
The Ideal Candidate:
* Previous management experience in a similar role/hotel is essential
* A strong understanding of the hospitality market
* Well presented, friendly and enthusiastic
* Proven customer skills
* Full understanding of food safety and hygiene
Key Skills and Knowledge:
* Strong leadership skills
* Good public relation skills
* Hands on and motivated manager - lead by example
* Good communicator
