We are seeking a candidate with a real love of numbers. Somebody who will treat the figures as their own. This is a Finance Manager for two businesses within a group of companies and you will oversee and be responsible for the financial operations. You will work closely with the leadership team.

This is a role that is both hands-on and analytical, which will enable you to make good use of your financial skills and qualifications. A high level of variance analysis, the ability to scope business performance proposals and have excellent communications in order to integrate both with operations & report back to the leadership team.

The role will also include financial and management accounting activities including VAT returns, month-end processes, supplier management, cross charging, journals, sales ledger and credit control and a range of monthly performance reporting. Previous use of Sage software is preferred for this role.

Excellent Excel skills will also be required to process multi-system data, present clear management reports, forecast future trends and modelling (for use when tendering for new services). A financial assistant will be available as support, but no line management duties will be required as this is a shared resource.
