We are urgently seeking two individuals who can start a project immediately through until the New Year and maybe longer. You will be responsible for the control and management of all company operational stores and equipment to include creating and maintaining an efficient stock control system, managing the issue and receipt of all equipment, maintaining stock levels with serviceable equipment ready to be issued, receiving other company assets and the replenishment of all faulty/damaged items. Candidates must hold a current Forklift license.
Main Duties:
* Create a system to manage, control and record all company assets through the stores to include individual and team issue sheets, inventory checks, stock controls and audit reports.
* To take delivery of goods ensure that goods are checked off in an accurate and timely manner and check for damages and quantity.
* Maintain systems and ensure accurate stock levels.
* Create and maintain a company asset register.
* Prepare equipment ready for issue to all staff prior to the start of day and night shifts.
* Receive the return of all issued kit and prepare for re-issue.
* Create an efficient stocktaking system and send regular reports to senior management.
* Keep stores clean and tidy and maintain health and safety standards.
* Control all costs and spending in line with budgets.
* Any other reasonable requests as may be required by senior management.
* Be prepared to work unsociable hours and on a rota basis either earlies/lates or days - no night work.
Person Specification:
Excellent organisational skills, ideally with experience of working in a similar role, understanding asset management and control and stores.
A knowledge of good working practices relating to Health and Safety Regulations working within this type of role.
Must be computer literate with IT skills commensurate to the role with the ability to implement systems.
Methodical, analytical and organised and able to work on own initiative.
The candidate must hold a Forklift licence.
