IT Customer Services Administrator
Kings Cross
Salary up to £28k
VR/2678R
Hours: 7.5 working hours per day, between the hours 8am - 6.30pm, Monday to Friday excluding all public holidays
Holiday: 25 Days
The ideal candidate will have strong customer service experience in an IT environment along with good communication skills and a can-do attitude when working under pressure.
The successful candidate will provide IT concierge and some 1st line IT support, reporting to the IT Service Desk Manager.
The role may require some limited travel between sites (London, Thames Ditton, Cirencester, Birmingham & Manchester)
Responsibilities:
· Front of House for the IT team. The first point of contact for phone calls, emails and drop-ins; regarding IT issues and queries.
· IT Concierge services inclusive of running the IT pop-up and 1st line IT support - basic troubleshooting of IT related problems; including but not limited to telephones, laptops, tablets, PC/Mac and printers.
· Logging and triage of all support calls, where necessary escalate unresolved calls to 2nd / 3rd Line Teams.
· Work alongside the Service desk manager to steer the support team.
· Co-ordination of all new starter requirements, ensuring hardware and accounts have been provisioned on time.
· Maintain an active role in induction training, developing IT training material.
· Maintaining a high degree of customer service for all support queries
· Schedule, organise and provide basic IT system training for all Staff.
Personal Skills and Attributes:
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Strong interpersonal skills, particularly in communication, team working, motivation and problem-solving.
· Ability to present technical information in a non-technical manner to users.
· Ability to work unsupervised and as an active member of a multi-disciplined and busy support team.
· Self-motivated and flexible in approach to work.
· Ability to work under pressure.
· Ability to assess and prioritise tasks in a dynamic environment
