Forklift driver
Our busy client, leading provider of automotive fluids, oils and chemicals for passenger cars throughout the UK, Europe and Asia, is looking to recruit the following position for our manufacturing site in Gravesend:

Forklift driver – Reach and Counterbalance
The Role
To provide support to all areas of Warehousing operations including storage, picking, and loading.
Correctly receive, handle and dispatch cargo from vehicles / warehouse in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure all relevant administration procedures are followed and completed.
Keep your area clean and tidy and communicate with various departments where necessary.
What you will need to succeed
• Educated to GCSE level (desirable)
• Must be in possession of a valid counterbalance or Reach and Counterbalance FLT licence, and have recent previous experience of a similar role/working within a warehouse environment (min 2 years)
• Familiar with Lean methods
• Good understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace
• IT literacy
• Good level of communication, relationship and inter-personal skills
• Ability to multi-task and problem solve with the capability to work under pressure

Working hours
Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 4:30 pm
Fridays – 7:30am – 2:30pm

Pay
£ 11 p/h
Overtime
Monday – Thursday - time and 1/3
Fridays – Saturday - time and 1/2
Sundays and Bank Holiday - double time
