Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for Class 2 drivers who have a keen interest in working for a furniture delivery company located in Marden
.
The role itself requires you to deliver furniture to home addresses in areas around the South East of England. You will be required to deliver large products, such as tables, wardrobes, and solid wood units. This will be multi-drop, and will range within the 10-25 drops per day. Working from Monday to Friday with a 6am start and a pay rates of £11.16 per hour for all hours. This will be carried out by a two man team.

All drivers will be placed on a 12 week temp to perm. This means that once you have completed 12 weeks with Blue Arrow, you will be transferred onto a full time contract with the client. Experience is preferred, but NOT essential. As long as you have some sort of delivery with 7.5 t or Class2 driving experience, the client will be more than happy to train you to the required level.
Due to insurance restrictions we are unable to accept candidates with more than 6 points on their licence.

This is very much a customer facing role, so a pleasant attitude towards customers is a fundamental requirement. This position can be quite physical and some of the furniture can weigh up to 120kg, and may involve humping upstairs etc. in order to reach the customer. All furniture will already be pre-made, and you will not be delivering or erecting flat pack furniture. All vans will be pre-loaded, this will be completed by the warehouse staff the day before.
