About the role:

This role is responsible for the test activity for the assigned projects, ensuring all project and change testing activity together with the required allocated resource is available to support the portfolio programme of work. This will include process improvements, system fixes, upgrades and system migrations for the core business systems.



The successful candidate will be responsible for a team based in the UK and will be required to work closely with the testing management team, core project, quality and IT teams to meet the required testing delivery expectations of the business roadmap and overall business strategy and to ensure identified risk areas are being mitigated with the aim to implement all change with limited customer and business impact.



As the Test Lead, main duties include:

* Assigning the required test activities each system / project and test phase as required
* Mentoring members of the testing team in the UK and India where required carrying out monthly one to one sessions
* Establishing and maintaining the capacity planning for the team across each project
* Managing the team to ensure they create and maintain detailed test scenarios, test cases and test scripts
* Preparing regular reporting and status updates as required

You'll be a motivated, customer focussed and conscientious individual who is able to say 'yes' to the following questions:

* Do you have existing experience in testing core systems within the Financial Services industry?
* Do you have a thorough knowledge of working with Mortgage (Phoebus or DPR) and Savings (Bastion) products and systems?
* Qualifications in or working towards ISTQB / ISEB Intermediate Certificate in Software Testing (or willing to study)?
