£50,000 - £65,000 per annum.

Office Angels have teamed up with this innovative, fast growing organisation based within Kings Hill, who are looking for a Head of Insights to work directly with the Operations Manager. This will involve creating, implementing and overseeing the data and analytical strategy to ensure that business requirements are consistently met. Through the insights generated by department, the business will be able to make informed business decisions.

What are the responsibilities?

* Create the roadmap for information delivery and management; including Tableau, big data, BI & analytics and data management
* Inform business plans through analytical and strategic insights
* llustrate key business trends and drivers through effective data interpretation and visualization
* Deliver impactful analysis based on robust economic, financial, and statistical analysis
* Estimate the impact of different strategic scenarios using robust analytical/financial models
* Create management dashboards that ensure accurate and robust reporting across key business/project/initiative metrics
* Become an analytics/data subject matter expert
* Develop an in-depth knowledge of all relevant data sources, business intelligence technologies and analytical tools -know what's possible and be able to answer questions fast
* Understand strategic challenges and deliver timely and relevant intelligence
* Advise and fulfil ad-hoc strategic requests for analysis to support the Directors
* Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement with a focus on providing solutions and delivering results
* Lead by example and provide on-going mentorship and guidance to the wider Insights team and the broader business
* Ensure the accuracy, relevance, quality, and impact of the Insights team deliverables
* Explain assumptions and quantitative methodologies to colleagues in other departments
* To refer to the Director of Operations when any work falls outside their area of knowledge or expertise

What skills will you require?



* Experience of providing business information through Tableau or similar solutions
* Excellent communicator, able to clearly identify and articulate key insights and recommendations to drive business decision-making with the Directors and their teams
* Working knowledge of SQL databases is an advantage
* Commercially minded and experienced in interpreting data into meaningful information and actions
* An enthusiastic & flexible working attitude with a passion for metrics and quantitative analysis and a willingness to support others and cover areas outside your role remit or natural comfort zone
* Highly numerate with strong commercial acumen and advanced Excel Skills
* Leadership experience
