This role offers you the chance to join the heart of our Marketing function, in our Marketing Effectiveness team. This role will require excellent communication skills and relationship building skills. Ideally the successful candidate will have previous experience of using SAS. We need someone who is confident analysing data such, who are able to model the effects and then use the findings to make recommendations and challenge our stakeholders!
What you'll be doing:
* To help deliver & challenge econometric media evaluation through agency partner. Ensure all key inputs are accurate and collected in a timely manner. To enable us to understand key acquisition drivers and commercial payback to help marketing make investment decisions
* You will ensure that marketing have a voice when it comes to key econometrics deliverables and make sure that the agency partners are engaged with key questions that need to be answered and that all outputs are shared in a collaborative way with key partners.
* Management & oversight of the product specific forecasts at key times throughout the year. As well as leading the "what if" scenario planning and portfolio optimisation, understand the process from start to finish and keep key partners and agencies aligned with expectations and outcomes. The key outcome is that the Marketing budget holders are able to accurately forecast the impact of media investment decisions, and add context in regard to conversations around performance vs. forecast
* To help plan & deliver media testing. Working with internal partners, media agencies and 3rd party media owners to help run & deliver the test matrix, on time. Initially this will be through working with our marketing analytics agency and as time progresses it will also be partly through your own analysis
* To initially take up the management of the bespoke effectiveness datamarts through the use of SAS/SQL and to ensure they remain accurate & fit-for-purpose.
* You will help build ad-hoc and innovative analytical solutions to answer complex marketing questions
* Handle and mitigate material risks, specifically ensuring that insight produced does not mislead, customer data is protected, and appropriate record management in place
