We are currently working with a leading national plumbing service that provides 24/7 reactive solutions.

Due to ongoing growth, they are currently seeking an experienced Water Leak Detection Engineer to join their team.

The Water Leak Detection Engineer will attend domestic properties with the purpose of finding and repairing water leaks, identifying cause of damp issues and compiling comprehensive reports. You will be using specialist leak detection equipment such as thermal image cameras, tracer gas, acoustic equipment to identify the source of the leak/water ingress issue. You will then be required to repair the leak and make the area safe. Training will be given on how to use the specialist equipment.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Plumbing/Heating Engineer with at least 3 years' experience in leak detection. You will have sound reporting/IT knowledge along with a full UK driving licence. You will have an NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing, experience in pipe repair and have excellent customer service skills.

Hours for this role are Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm with occasional late/weekend work paid as overtime. To attend a leak detection out of hours you will be paid £75. Other benefits include company van, fuel card, phone and uniform, training, company days out, health benefits and pension scheme.
