Our client, a leading North Kent based business, is looking to recruit a Management Accountant following an internal promotion. Reporting into the Financial Controller and working in a large team, the Management Accountant will be supported in preparing monthly management accounts and reporting for several business units, ensuring processes are completed on a timely and accurate basis in accordance with reporting guidelines and deadlines for the group business. Key duties will include:

• Daily cash flow forecasting, providing analysis and reconciliations, for inclusion in the monthly reporting
• Responsibility and management of monthly inter-co reconciliations liaising with the other divisional management accountants to ensure
timely and accuracy of all inter-co trading accounts
• Holding monthly review meetings with budget holders to review costs
• Preparation of the P&L for several divisions of the business
• Budgeting and Reforecast responsibility for multiple business divisions
• Banking, processing invoices and daily banking transactions, raising payments and drawing cash down
• Management of expenses

Candidates will ideally be studying towards a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA) and will have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience within an accounts based role. Previous exposure to the P&L and the confidence to participate in meetings with budget holders will also be key.
