Oakley School is the Tunbridge Wells district co-educational, Special School for day pupils, aged from 2 to 18 years, all of whom have severe/complex needs and communication and learning difficulties.

We are seeking an outstanding full-time Teacher to join our vibrant, friendly, positive and forward-looking school in January 2020, initially on a fixed term contract for one year to cover maternity leave. Candidates will be qualified teachers, ideally primary trained with SEND experience, but we would provide training for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will have excellent classroom practice, enjoy team working and be willing to undertake further professional development/training. We require someone with a positive attitude, drive and enthusiasm, with a strong commitment to inclusive principles, supporting our ethos of providing a safe and positive environment for all our children and young people, enabling them to reach their full potential and develop their skills for life and independence.

As well as membership of the Teachers’ Pension Scheme, benefits include free car parking and access to the Kent Rewards scheme.
